Who we are
Accumulating Impact is the business name of Yariv Hefez, who is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. We are based in 6315 Oberägeri, Zug, Switzerland. Contact for anything in this notice: info@accumulatingimpact.com.
What we collect
Through the speaking invitation form: your name, organisation, email address and the details of your event. Through the contact form: your name, email address, organisation if you give it, and your message. When you write to us by email: your email address and what you include in your message. Through the subscribe form: your email address, and a record of when you confirmed your subscription. When we send the newsletter, our newsletter provider records whether you opened it and which links you clicked, so we can see what readers find useful. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and time of visit, for security and to keep the site running.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and, where it leads to work, to prepare and carry out that engagement. To send the newsletter you asked for. To keep the site secure. We rely on your consent for the newsletter, on taking the steps you ask for before a possible engagement for enquiries, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Who sees it
Only us and the service providers who process data on our behalf: our website host Netlify, our newsletter provider Brevo and our email provider Infomaniak. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. If you book a paid call through Hubble, Hubble handles the booking and payment under its own privacy policy and shares your name and email with us for the call. We do not sell or rent personal data.
Where it is stored
Our providers may store data outside Switzerland, including in the European Union and the United States. Where a country does not offer adequate protection under Swiss or EU law, we rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 24 months after the last contact. Engagement records: as long as Swiss law requires, usually ten years for business records. Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe. Server logs: up to 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, or object to how we use it. You can withdraw consent to the newsletter at any time using the link in every issue. Write to info@accumulatingimpact.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or to the data protection authority in your EU country.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
